How we verify every role.

Fewer listings, each one checked on the employer's own page. Here is exactly what that means.

Where roles come from

We search company career pages and the hiring systems employers use (such as Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby) every day. We do not copy listings from aggregators. Every role links to the employer's own application page.

What we check before a role is listed

  • The application page loads and the role is still open
  • The role is remote for applicants in the United States. Hybrid and office-based roles are left out.
  • The title and responsibilities fit one of our eight specialties
  • The seniority matches the work described, not just the title
  • The posted date, when the employer publishes one
  • Pay, location limits and any excluded states, taken from the posting itself

How we keep the list fresh

  • Every listed role is re-checked on the employer's page at least every 7 days. Each card shows the date of the last check.
  • Roles posted more than 60 days ago are removed, even if the employer still has them open.
  • Roles posted more than 45 days ago are labeled "Older posting" so you can weigh them accordingly.
  • Roles posted in the last 7 days are labeled "New this week".
  • Closed roles come off the list on the next check.

How pay is labeled

We show pay as one range and label what it covers. The full wording from the posting, including location tiers, sits under Pay details on each listing.

  • Base: Base salary. Bonus, commission and equity are extra when offered.
  • OTE: On-target earnings: base plus expected variable pay. The base salary alone is lower.
  • Basis not stated: The employer gives a range but does not say whether it is base salary or total pay.
  • Not stated: The employer does not state pay for this role.

How roles are selected

The board holds about 30 roles at a time across eight specialties, with a hard ceiling of 36. When a stronger role appears we swap it in, and we leave a specialty short rather than pad it with weak listings.

Each job page explains why the role made the cut and what the catch is, so you can decide quickly whether to apply.

Spotted a problem?

If a role has closed, the pay is wrong or the location is not what we say, tell us through the contact page and we will check it again.
