Who we are

Remote Marketing Jobs runs this website and the weekly newsletter. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Remote Marketing Jobs. You can reach us about privacy through our contact page.

What we collect

  • Newsletter signups: your email address and which signup form you used.
  • Contact messages: your name, email address and what you write to us.
  • Job submissions from employers: the job title, company, job link, your email address and any notes.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked (including Apply clicks), referring site, approximate location derived from your IP address, and device and browser type.

How we use it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your email address with employers.

  • To send the newsletter you asked for
  • To reply to messages and review submitted jobs
  • To understand which pages and listings are useful, and to improve the site
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure how the site is used. These tools may set cookies. Our website platform also records basic, aggregated visit statistics.

We store a few small values in your browser's local storage: whether you have seen or dismissed the newsletter popup, whether you have subscribed (so we stop asking), and your last job-board filters for the current session. They never leave your browser.

You can block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. The site still works without them.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the site and the newsletter: a website hosting platform that also stores form submissions, an email service provider that sends the newsletter, and Google for analytics. They process data on our behalf and only for these purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address while you are subscribed. Contact messages and job submissions are kept as long as needed to respond and for our records. Analytics data is kept in line with each provider's retention settings.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe at any time with the link in every newsletter.
  • Ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information through our contact page.
  • Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights under local law. We will honor them.

Children

This site is for working professionals and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
